Our Story

Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

In the quiet streets off Jalan Imbi, where colonial-style bungalows dot the landscape, you will find Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, a warm and lovely French-style bakery and café where you can savour soft, warm and superbly fresh breads and pastries while enjoying a soothing cup of coffee.
Within the walls of the colonial-style bungalow, be prepared to be immersed in a comfortable dining experience with its high ceilings and wooden ornaments that brings to mind European-style cafes with a modern touch. With spacious interiors and plenty of seats, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal on any occasion be it family meals or a simple morning brunch.
At Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, we bake our selection of fresh breads and pastries all day using natural yeast, in our traditional stone oven which imparts a unique flavour and texture to all our breads. We believe in using only the freshest ingredients we can find and taking the time and care to produce the best quality breads and meals that will delight our customers.

We believe in making good bread. As we’ve grown, so has our menu and our community, yet our values have stayed the same. We take the time to make our bread, pastries, cakes, breakfasts and lunches as we always have – with care, by hand – so that we don’t need to compromise on what we eat, whether we’re on the go, or taking the time out to relax in our café.
